1 can of organic BPA free chick peas 1 large avocado
juice from 1 lime
1⁄2 tsp ground turmeric
pinch of cayenne pepper (optional) pinch of salt
fresh cracked black pepper
1⁄4 cup chopped cilantro
1 pita bread cut into half
In a high-powered blender or food processor, add the canned chickpeas, avocado, lime juice, turmeric, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Blend until completely smooth and well combined.
Next, spread some of the mixture into each pita bread half and finish with the fresh cilantro.
